Setting Up Your Organization
Creating an organization
- Sign in to AMS
- From your personal workspace, go to Organizations
- Click New Organization — fill in name, profile details
- You are automatically set as OWNER
On creation, the system automatically creates:
- A default organization workspace (with a matching public profile)
- A default team and a clients team
- You are added as OWNER member of the default team
Organization settings
In Settings (org workspace):
| Section | What you configure |
|---|---|
| Profile | Name, description, logo, contact details |
| Address | Billing/postal address |
| Billing | Subscription plan (OWNER/ADMIN only) |
Managing workspaces
An organization can have multiple workspaces. Go to Workspaces to:
- View all workspaces for the org
- Edit workspace details (name, description, logo)
- Manage each workspace's public profile (the client-facing view)
Public org profile
Each workspace has a public profile visible to clients. It can be:
- Synced — automatically mirrors the private org profile (default)
- Unsynced — managed independently (useful for per-workspace branding)
Use Sync to reset to a mirror of the private profile, or Edit to customize it independently.
Inviting team members
Go to User Management → Users & Invitations:
- Click Invite User — enter email and assign a role
- The user receives an email invitation
- On acceptance they join the default team with the assigned role
Roles available
| Role | Typical use |
|---|---|
| OWNER | Full control, billing access |
| ADMIN | Manage users, configure templates |
| MANAGER | Manage applications, review documents |
| MEMBER | Process applications |
See Roles & Permissions for full details.
Managing teams
Go to User Management → Teams:
- Create additional teams for different groups (e.g. "Underwriting Team", "Review Team")
- Each team has its own member list and invitations
- Applications are associated at the workspace level; teams organize the people
Inviting clients
Go to Clients → Client Invitations:
- Click Invite Client — enter client email
- Client receives invitation email, creates their account
- Client sets up their public profile and shares it with your org
- Client appears in your Clients list with status ACTIVE
Once a client is active, you can add them as applicants on applications.
